Turn on third-party access
- Open Xfinity Email settings. Sign in to Xfinity's web mail and open its settings.
- Allow third-party access. Turn on access for third-party email programs, then add the account in your mail app.
Use Xfinity in GotEmail
In GotEmail, choose Add Account, then Other (IMAP), and type the settings from the table: the IMAP and SMTP servers, their ports and encryption, your username and password. GotEmail checks them as you sign in and tells you what to fix if a server says no.
Good to know
- Xfinity doesn't support port 25 for sending.
