Yahoo Mail works in any mail app with these servers and an app password generated in your Yahoo account. Your normal Yahoo password won't work.

Make a Yahoo app password
- Open Account Security. Sign in at login.yahoo.com/account/security.
- Generate an app password. Choose Generate and manage app passwords and name it after your mail app.
- Copy it. Paste it into your mail app as the password.
Use Yahoo in GotEmail
You don't have to type any of this. In GotEmail, choose Add Account and pick Yahoo: the servers, ports and encryption above are filled in for you. You paste the password, and your mail starts loading.
Good to know
- Yahoo requires SSL and authentication for both servers.
