Make a Fastmail app password
- Open Integrations. In Fastmail, go to Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Integrations.
- Make a new app password. Choose New app password and give it access to Mail (IMAP, POP, SMTP).
- Copy it. Paste it into your mail app as the password.
Use Fastmail in GotEmail
You don't have to type any of this. In GotEmail, choose Add Account and pick Fastmail: the servers, ports and encryption above are filled in for you. You paste the password, and your mail starts loading.
Good to know
- Fastmail's Basic plan doesn't include IMAP or SMTP access.
