Zoho Mail uses different servers for personal and free accounts than for paid organizations on their own domain, and IMAP access has to be turned on in Zoho first.

Turn on IMAP and make a password
- Turn on IMAP access. In Zoho Mail, open Settings, then Mail Accounts, select your address and check IMAP Access.
- Make an app-specific password if needed. With two-factor authentication on, create an application-specific password in your Zoho account's security settings.
- Use the right servers. Paid organization accounts use
imappro.zoho.comandsmtppro.zoho.cominstead.
Use Zoho in GotEmail
You don't have to type any of this. In GotEmail, choose Add Account and pick Zoho: the servers, ports and encryption above are filled in for you. You paste the password, and your mail starts loading.
Good to know
- Paid organization accounts on their own domain use
imappro.zoho.comandsmtppro.zoho.com, same ports. - Accounts in other Zoho data centers (such as the EU or India) use their region's servers, shown under Server Configuration Details in Zoho Mail.
- Zoho says newly signed-up free users don't have IMAP access, and an organization's administrator must allow IMAP.
